Professor Arthur Kleinman held a special lecture titled “A Passion for Society” at Room B146 in the ECC on March 15. Kleinman is a doctor, anthropologist, and professor of medical anthropology in Harvard University. Hosted by the Institute for Development and Human Security and the SSK research team, the lecture explained how sociable acts, such as helping others, form and recreate rules in social science. Kleinman also explained how humans form a society by connecting logical thinking and social behavior.
