Singapore, an island country located in Southeast Asia, is famous for its multicultural population and diverse tourist attractions. Thanks to its approximate location from Northeast Asia, where it only takes a six-hour light from Seoul, Singapore is a luxurious and quick-travel destination for many residing in the region.

If you are looking for the best vacation area in Singapore, Sentosa Island, located on the country's southern coast, is a must-visit spot. The island resort is accessible from the mainland via cable carand monorail. This iconic island has both natural and artificial beaches, along with leisure activities such as the world's largest indoor skydiving facility and Southeast Asia's steepest zipline for thrill-seekers. It also provides visitors with an adventure through the Sentosa Nature Discovery nature trail, one of the world's largest oceanariums, a Madame Tussauds museum, and an adventure waterpark. Visiting the island for a quarter of a day, it was easy to spot how it was well managed to welcome tourists, just like how the country is famous for its clear hygiene and iron rules.

After spending some time at the island, the monorail back to the mainland will land you at VivoCity, the largest shopping mall in the country. Although it may be full of tourists enjoying shopping, it will provide a meaningful experience as almost every brand you are looking for can be found at the mall. Also, if you feel like shopping at Vivo was not enough, it may also be a reasonable choice to finish up at Orchard Road, the luxurious retail heart of the country.

Not only shopping, but another reason why Singapore is so famous among many young tourists is its diversity in food. Although it may be ambiguous to call any of these cuisines “traditional” Singaporean, you will be open to a variety of choices including kaya toast, chili crab, and laksa. Just as diverse as the ethnicity, the food has also harmonized over the history of the country. Not to speak of the variety of fusion, it would also be a good choice to enjoy some Hainanese or Nyonya food full of fragrance and spice, which you may only be able to experience in Singapore.

As night comes, the small and beautiful city begins to shine more and more. In the Central Region of Singapore, you will encounter the famous 101-hectare nature park, Gardens by the Bay. Consisting of three waterfront gardens, the park contains the world’s tallest indoor waterfall of 35 meters in the Cloud Forest, and the Flower Dome is known to be the largest glass greenhouse in the world. This enormous, record-holding garden gives off its most every night, when the 15-minute light shows shine along with the iconic background music. Just steps away, you will also be able to spot the luminous Marina Bay Sands towering over you. Not only does the integrated resort hold the record of having the world’s most expensive standalone casino property, but is also attractive for all, just by its jaw-dropping appearance.

If you feel like you have not enjoyed the fullest of Singapore at this point, moving on to the Clarke Quay area would be a must. Famous for its nightlife full of youth, the historical riverside quay will be a perfect place to enjoy a restaurant meal or light drink in the middle of the energetic city. Contrastingly, but at the same time harmonizing with the shiny city, you may also take a walk along the restored warehouse-concepted blocks around the area, where you will experience connections between the past and present.

At the end of your journey, you will not only be holding a handful of goods and specialties from the country, but will perhaps also have a full heart and soul thanks to the historical and bright country. No matter how long or short your trip may have been, you would have definitely been able to feel the harmony, culture, and urbanism of the small, but impressive country throughout.
