   To many people, exercising is an essential way to relax. With the current interest in "well-being," physical fitness clubs seem to have appeared on every street corner. In this issue, "Tips on Ewha Life" will inform you about the well-equipped, indoor sports facilities around campus.


   ▶ The Fitness Room is located in the basement of Physical Education Building C. By following the signs posted around campus, students can reach the building on the right side of the street in front of Pfeiffer Hall (Administration Building). Opening hours are from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The fee is 20,000 won for students.
   ▶ The Swimming Pool is located in the basement of the Alumnae Building. Swimming lessons are divided into beginner classes and intermediate classes. The pool is open from 12:00 to 12:55 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 5:00 to 5:55 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The fees are 2,500 won for students. Swimmers must bring their own gear.
   ▶ The Squash Court is on the B2 floor of the Student Union Building. Two courts are available and can be used for up to one hour each, but reservation must be made beforehand. Opening hours are 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays. The fee is 1,000 won for nonmember students.
   ▶ The Tennis Court is located next to the Ahyeon Gate and is equipped with four courts. Opening hours are 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays. You can learn basic tennis techniques by taking lessons.
   ▶ Aerobic classes are held on the B1 floor of the Student Union Building. Courses include Yoga Exercise, Jazz Dancing, Dance Sports, Belly Dancing, and Jazz Ballet. The courses cost 60,000 won and last eight weeks. 
   All facilities are equipped with private lockers and shower rooms.
   All applicants must visit the B103 room at the Student Union Building for registration. Remember to check the program schedules and opening hours, because they change every month. No refunds are given.
