The Division of International Studies (DIS) hosted the first Korean Intervarsity Debating Championship. A total of 90 people in 30 teams from eight universities participated in the debates. The tournament took place from April 1 to 3 at the International Education Building. The Grand Prize was given to the team Ewha 2, 1st Runner Up to Ewha 1, and 2nd Runner Up jointly to Korea 1 and Kyung-hee 3.
