The second 2018 Korean Studies Forum was held on Aug. 21 at Humanities Building. The speaker of the forum was Lim Kwan-taek, who refused going back to North Korea or remaining in South Korea after surviving the Korean War and ended up being one of the 76 people who headed to neutral nations. The main topic of the forum was Lim’s experiences of what he went through during and after the Korean War. Participants of the forum could listen to Lim’s lifetime story which reflected Korean modern and contemporary history’s diaspora.
