The school was found guilty of admission and credit fraud for Chung Yoo-ra by the Ministry of Education. According to article 2 of Admission cancellations, the school is to cancel Chung’s admissions. The MOE is further discussing disciplinary action for those involved, and cutting government funds for the school.

In February, Ewha Voice visited Japan to take a look at how various social groups are trying to resolve the issue of “comfort women.” Students, professors and citizen groups shared their insights and efforts to bring about a satisfactory solution to the sensitive issue.

For the second overseas coverage, Ewha Voice traveled to Chicago in efforts to learn how sports can empower women. Girls in the Game and Women’s Sports Chicago, organizations advocating the importance of women playing sports, shared their stories of growth and future goals.
