College of Pharmacy celebrated its 70th anniversary at Lee San Bong Hall in the Ewha Campus Complex on Nov. 4. As the first College of Pharmacy in Korea, it has produced more than 8,000 pharmacists since 1945. To commemorate its long history, the anniversary consisted of several symposiums, an official celebration and an event hosted by “Step Up,” the student council of the College of Pharmacy. Proud alumni including Doctor Hwang Jung-joo of the University of California San Diego, and Ryu Eun-ju of Pfizer Incorporation were present to speak during the symposiums.
