Ewha signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) and Exchange Agreement with Cornell University on Oct. 22. These agreement was made during Ewha president Kim Sun-uk’s visit to America for the expansion of North America’s engagment, Ewha Alumnae Conference of North America and International Foundation meeting from Oct. 17 to 28. The purpose of these agreements was to enhance the scholarly relationship between the two universities through human exchange. Each semester, Ewha will send specialists in various fields including Korean Studies, Korean Politics, Economics and Women’s Studies to Cornell to offer Korea-related courses. Through this program, Ewha and Cornell will facilitate faculty exchange and research collaboration.
