The University of Mannheim is known for its distinct profile, business orientation, and its international approach. For those who love nature, the banks of the Rhine and Neckar are close to the university and make an ideal spot to relax or have a barbecue party with friends.
Furthermore, the location of Mannheim is in the centre of Europe. Thus, it is a convenient starting point for travels to those of other European countries. The Inter City Express high-speed train station is located on the edge of the campus and takes passengers to Frankfurt airport in half an hour.
