The University of Malaga (UMA) was founded in 1972 and has now over 40,000 students, 2,000 researchers and an average of 13 students per professor. It is located in a new campus with the newest technologies, lots of sport complexes and is very close to the Spanish Silicon Valley (PTA) where most of the internationals and national companies have their own reputation.
You will find affordable cafeterias at every College as well as nice libraries to study and prepare your courses. Apart from those libraries, there is a General Library and other two buildings that are 24 hours  during exams period, without restricted access at any time.
The staff of the Office of Global Affairs and the recently created PAPI program (buddy program to help exchange students) will always be willing to help you, with a friendly smile on their face. Therefore, there is no need to worry during your semester or a year at the UMA.
Once a year, and during one week, each college prepare activities related to the university like conferences, sport competitions, cooking lessons, movies are shown and so on. This is called “Semana Cultural” and will be a great opportunity to get in touch with Spanish culture and share wonderful moments with your new classmates.
And once you come back to Korea, you could never forget the image of the bright sun on the clear blue sky, the smell of the sea breeze and your charming Spanish friends, I’m pretty sure of that.
