Ewha opened its chapel service to exchange students for the first time on Sept. 13 and will continue doing so until Dec. 3. Chapel gives Ewha students a sense of unity and moral education, inviting people from famous CEOs to renowned volunteers to speak.

Exchange students interested in attending the 30-minute service, held at 10 a.m. every Monday through Friday and at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, will be assigned to one of 45 seats reserved for exchange and graduate students. The seats are on the first floor in the 29th through 33rd rows in the Ba section. Seats will be assigned when the students arrive at the Ewha Chaplain’s Office in the Welch-Ryang Auditorium.

Currently, translation is not provided, but student in need of devices can request for it at the Office.

“We are starting this service to give exchange students a chance to experience chapel, a distinguished tradition at Ewha,” said Lee Han-nah, a manager at the Ewha Chaplain’s Office.
