Many say it is hard to make friends in university. Unlike in high school, there is no homeroom class and no regular classmates you can easily make friends with. At university, you must do everything on your own—from registering for classes to planning meals. As college students, we congratulate ourselves for finally becoming decision-makers in our own lives; yet tasting this newly found freedom can be as terrifying as it is exciting. Standing at this point in life, a true friend who can share your dreams and hopes is a necessity in university life. Knowing this, many services provided by the school and by student clubs help freshmen and exchange students better adjust to their new life at Ewha.
