Ewha’s Official English Theatre Group performs Women in Congress

BEINGS, the Official English Theatre Group of the Division of English Language & Literature, held their 81st performance from April 9 to April 10. They performed a comedy play Women in Congress, with an ancient Athens setting. The play showcased women’s movement to demolish the male-oriented political system and rewritten scenes portraying what Athens would have been like if, at the time, women could speak up for themselves. The performance was live streamed on YouTube, providing English and Korean subtitles.
