Ewha law graduate Noh Jung-hee was titled chief justice on Aug. 2. She was given a six-year term to be the chief justice of the Supreme Court of Korea. In 1987, Noh first started her career as a judge at Chuncheon District Court. Following her path as a judge, she actively worked at the district courts in Seoul and Gwangju. Officially in 2017, she became the chief judge of the Seoul High Court. Earlier this year, adding to her achievements she was appointed the 21st President of Supreme Court Library.
