Ewha Center for Francophone Studies held the first semester colloquium with the winner of the 2017 Goncourt Prize, Maryam Madjidi on March 26 at the Humanities Building. The Goncourt Prize is a renowned literary prize in the francophone region awarded by the Goncourt academy. Madjidi won the prize for her work Marx and the Puppet, where she relates her childhood in Iran to her exile in France, and her subsequent learning of the French language.
