The Center for Chinese Cultural Studies held a guest lecture on “How does literature influence our life?” at the ECC theater on May 24. Yu Hua, the author of Chronicle of a Blood Merchant, delivered the lecture to help students gain an in-depth understanding of the Chinese society. The event was part of Lucete Humanities Project’s “Workshop with invited foreign experts” and was supported by the Ministry of Education.
