The greatest change was made on email accounts. All previous ID@ewha.ac.kr accounts were converted to ID@ewhain.net, and all email received before Nov. 26, 5:00 p.m. was automatically transported to the new account.
However, mail received in between Nov. 26, 5:00 p.m. and Nov. 28 was not transported and they may be checked through the old account (http://oldmm.ewha.ac.kr). Any mail stored in the old account will have to be transported individually by users. The automatic transporting service will continue through to mails received before Jan. 31, 2005 and will only include received and sent mail. Any additional stored information should be saved separately.
For user convenience, the new account has added features that will enable to cancel sent mail to other accounts within the same system. Also, whereas ID@ewha.ac.kr was only available to undergraduate and graduate school students, the new mail account may be kept indefinitely.
The IIC would like to notify that all important school information will now be announced through the new accounts. Also, because of the SSO program, which allows inter-access between all combined systems, users are requested to take extra precautions with passwords when logging on. EPIS may be reached at http://portal.ewha.ac.kr or through a link on the school? homepage. Intranet, however, will only be accessible through the main EPIS site.
