Ewha held the Entrance Ceremony to welcome 3,470 incoming students at the Welch-Ryang Auditorium on Feb. 27. Starting with the welcoming speech of President Choi Kyung-hee, a performance of the male faculty members’ choir was followed. After the ceremony, “Welcome to Ewha,” a program for freshmen, was held. Under the host of announcer Park Eun-young (’01, Dance), enrolled students and graduates shared their tips for adjusting to Ewha. This year, Na Seung-Yeon (’95, French), spokesperson for the PyeongChang’s 2018 Winter Olympic Bid, came as a special guest. Meanwhile, the newly arranged program “Welcome to Ewha Family” was held at Lee San Bong Hall for about Ewha family members.
