The research team led by professor Hwang Seong-ju (Chemistry & Nano Science) and doctorate Kim Young-in (Chemistry & Nano Science) developed an effective way to tailor the physicochemical and antibacterial properties of grapheme film by hybridizing films of grapheme and layered titanate nanosheets. With this development, complete removal of colon bacillus is possible within 15 minutes. This research was reported as cover dissertation on Advanced Functional Materials on April 23.
