The new Ewha Shuttle bus route became available on March 3.

A third Ewha shuttle bus route that starts from the Welch-Ryang Auditorium and extends to University-Industry Cooperation Building has become available starting March 3. The new route was arranged upon the completion of the building construction.

The third line offers the following five stations in the order: Welch-Ryang Auditorium, Statue of Dr. Hellen Kim, Ewha-POSCO Building, Three-way Intersection and University-Industry Cooperation Building.

The earliest bus of each day departing from the Welch-Ryang Auditorium is at 8:40 a.m. and operates at 40 minutes of each hour until 11:40 a.m. A one-hour break starts at noon until 1 p.m. From 1:10 p.m. to 5:10 p.m., the latest operation time, the bus arrives at 10 minutes of each hour.

For the bus that departs from University-Industry Cooperation Building, the bus arrives at 20 minutes of every hour from 8:40 a.m. and has a break at noon until 1 p.m. as well. It arrives at 50 minutes of every hour at the same afternoon hours of the bus departing from the auditorium.

With the new bus line available, officials expect the running time to arrive at the Engineering Building near Three-way Intersection and University-Industry Cooperation Building to be reduced.

“There was much difficulty constructing a new shuttle bus route due to hills and curves of the roads,” said an official who wished to remain anonymous at the Office of General Administration. “We hope that the students utilize the facility that was successfully constructed despite difficulties.”
