Ewha successfully held the Ewha-RUPP Golden Bell at Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) in Cambodia on Oct. 31. A total of 150 students enrolled under the Korea Studies major in RUPP participated in the Golden Bell quiz event about the Korean language and culture. The event started with an opening speech of Kim Young-hun, the director of Ewha Korea Culture Research Institute, and came to an end with a closing address by Lee Hai-young, the director of the Ewha Language Center. The honor of the Ewha-RUPP Golden Bell went to Bunthoeub Sopanha (RUPP, 2). RUPP is a national university in Cambodia with 12,000 currently-enrolled students.
