Jane Goodall gave a public lecture under the theme of “Reason for Hope” in the Welch-Ryang Auditorium on Nov. 16. The lecture was given in English and was followed by the translation of professor Choi Jae-cheon (Life Sciences). Prior registrations were not necessary to attend. After the lecture, the attendees of the lecture received signatures from Goodall. J&J Biodiversity Foundation, Ewha Academy for Advanced Studies, and Jane Goodall Institute Korea hosted the event. Jane Goodall is the world’s most famous expert on chimpanzees and has a doctorate in Ethology.
