Korean Women’s Institute (KWI) hosted the 6th Asian Women’s Studies Lecture of 2012 under the title of “Contemporary Transformation of Islamic Consumption and the Malaysian Halal Certificate System: Interactions Between Food, Shariah, Science and Market” at the first floor conference room in KWI on Nov. 8. A presentation was given by professor Oh Myung-seok (Seoul National University) and a discussion session was led by KWI research professor Yoo Jeong-mi.
