According to the Korea Research Foundation (KRF), Ewha ranked second in the quality evaluation of journal citation in Science Citation Index. Ewha had a 2.86 in impact factor, a measure of the citations to science and social science journals, second toUniversity of Ulsan’s impact factor of 2.95. Cho Ji-hyung, the Dean of Research Affairs, said that this is the result of Ewha’s efforts in improving the quality of university research.
