Jean Marie Gustave Le Clezio (Ewha Academy for Advanced Studies) received Nobel Prize in literature on Oct. 9. He has been the most respected writer for the French literary world and was awarded for his analysis of human being, poetic writing styles, and innovative themes. Le Clezio is also known for his close connection with Ewha after working as an emeritus professor in the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation.
